The location is ideal for exploring the many local attractions, blue seas, sandy beaches, scenic walks, castles and rivers, to name but a few.  Cardigan Bay is one of the few places in the British Isles where Dolphins are frequently spotted from the shore. The Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre at Newquay is a must to visit. Indeed the boat trips from the picturesque seaside town of Newquay give the visitor a superb opportunity to get up close to the dolphins and the seals, which inhabit the local waters.

Children love the Shetland pony named 'Secret' and the very tame sheep named 'Cloudy', which live in the field behind the cottage.
